Dog Showed Up At Woman’s House – With A Note On His Collar

The dog wasn’t a stray..

One day, a woman returned home from work to find an older yet tired-looking dog wandering into her backyard.

She could tell that the Golden Retriever had a home and was well taken care of, thanks to a dog tag and licence he wore on his collar. The dog calmly went over to her, and she was able to pet his head.
The friendly golden then followed the woman into her house, slowly walked down the hallways, curled up in the corner and fell asleep! He woke up an hour later, and the woman opened her front door to let him out. The dog trotted back home, and she thought that this was merely a one-time thing.
However, the next day, the goldie was back! He greeted the woman in her yard once again, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hallways – taking a nap for an hour! This went on for several weeks, much to the woman’s delight and amusement.

Curious, she wrote a note addressed to his owners and pinned it on the dog’s collar. It read: “I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon, your dog comes to my house for a nap?”
The following day, the Golden Retriever arrived for his nap time once more, with a reply note pinned to his collar! It said: “He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3. He’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?”
Of course, she agreed and sent the reply back. It was the start of a beautiful friendship. The Golden Retriever has made the woman’s house his very own second home, as it would have turned out! How adorable is this?
Looks like all dogs actually need their own ‘me’ time – whether its time for a nap, a break or simply playtime!
What do you think ?
